Mildred M. Marquez

Marquez, Mildred Age 83, was born on August 1, 1928 in Albuquerque, NM and was raised in Alameda. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Marquez loved spending time caring for her home, cooking and being a devoted mother to her eight children. As she got older she enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family. She passed away, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 while surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donciano Marquez; sons, Leo Marquez, Richard Marquez, Ray Marquez and Ronald Marquez; and grandson, Angel Galvan Marquez. Mrs. Marquez is survived by her loving children, Ralph Marquez and wife Rosa, Evelyn Garcia and husband Richard, Leo Marquez and Frances Madrid, Richard C. Marquez and wife Frances; her precious grandchildren, Richard, Theresa Haste, Angela Marquez, Ralphie, Roxanne, Richard C. Jr. and Adrianna Marquez, Brenda Luna, Randy Garcia, Jeanette Aguilar, Mark Martinez, Chris Gallegos, Estrella Galvan ; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nestorita Saiz; daughter-in-laws, Maria Garcia and Yolanda Marquez; other numerous relatives and friends. Mrs. Marquez will be greatly missed. Visitations will be Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Final Viewing will be Monday, March 26, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Alameda Mortuary. Service of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Richard C. Marquez Jr., Randy Garcia, Richard C. Marquez, Russell Luna, Mark Martinez, Chris Gallegos. Honorary Bearer will be Charles Garcia. Mrs. Marquez's care has been entrusted to:
