Passed away from natural causes on March 25, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was 91 years old. She was born to the late Francesco and Carmella Comiciotto on September 24, 1925, in Passaic, New Jersey. She was the youngest of six siblings, all who preceded her in death: Joe, Pat, Samuel, Tom and Connie.
Mildred is survived by her three children, Tom Swisstack and wife Lisa, Jeff Swisstack and wife Debbie, Sandy Swisstack, and her granddaughter, Brielle Grado and husband Matt. Her husband, Edward Swisstack, and first son, Ed, preceded her in death.
Mildred was more than a full-time homemaker, and as her children grew, worked in the medical and dental field. She loved to draw, paint, sing, design clothes, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. A private service will be held on March 31, 2017, at the Vista Grande Retirement Village Chapel.
