Milton Orville Johnson

Milton O. Johnson, age 94, graduated to heaven on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Glendora Robbins Johnson, and his parents, Elmer and Elsie Johnson. He is survived by his son, Dean Johnson, and his daughter, Pastor Sheri Schaefer and her husband Pastor Mike Schaefer.  Milton has four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Milton served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946, and is a veteran of World War II.  He graduated from Oklahoma University in 1948, and went on to complete his master’s degree at University of North Carolina.  He retired after 30 years of service in Public Health Administration with the Indian Health Service in New Mexico. Milton enjoyed golf, bridge, dancing, music, watching football, and spending time with his family.  Services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018, at 1:00pm at Daniel’s Funeral Home 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109.
