Minard L. Clayton

Clayton, Minard "Clay" L. Age 84, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He was born in Dill City, OK on October 19, 1929, to George and Mary Clayton. Clay is survived by wife, Toyo Clayton of 63 years, daughters; Diann O'Neill and Paula Rodriquez and husband Richie, grandchildren Melony Cable and her husband Dalien, Nic Rodriguez and his wife Nina, great grandchildren; Kaylen Cable, Kieran Cable and Etienne Louis, brother; F.A. Clayton, caregivers; Ruth Louis, Erin Burns and Denette Chavez. Pallbearers Richie Rodriguez, Nic Rodriguez, J.B. Conley and honorary pallbearer Mike Young. Clay loved spending time with his grandchildren, his beloved dog "Buster", his family and watching NASCAR. Clay will be greatly missed by numerous relatives, friends and all who knew and loved him. There will be a viewing on Friday May 30, 2014 at Saint Stephen's United Methodist Church, 4601 Juan Tabo NE, at 9:00am, funeral service to begin at 10:00am. Interment immediately following at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE Albuquerque, NM In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Clay's honor to The Library for the Blind and Physically Handicap (LBPH) of Santa Fe, 1209 Camino Carlos Rey Santa Fe, NM 87507.
