Minnie L Vigil

Minnie L. Vigil, age 83, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Chamisal, New Mexico went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Paz and Leonarda Lopez; sisters, Fabiola Dominquez and Bertha Maestas; six brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and several nephews and nieces. Minnie had a big heart and welcomed everyone into her home. She was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Alfonso Vigil, her daughter Yvonne and husband Joe Salazar; her grandchildren, Jessica, Joey, and Joseph who was the light of her life; sisters, Betty Arrant, Rose Gonzales, Naomi Elizondo (Juan), Bella Armigo (Valerio); brothers, Jose Paz Lopez Jr. (Eulogia), Paul Lopez (Teresa), Leroy Lopez (Valentina); a niece and nephew raised as siblings, Dorothy Gonzales and Jake King; numerous nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited on Monday, June 30th at 7 o'clock P.M. at Daniels Family Funeral Services- Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, Tuesday, July 1st at 10 o'clock A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church, Albuquerque, NM. Internment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45pm. Serving as pallbearers, Leonard Armijo, Joey Vigil, Phillip Gonzales, Benjamin Dominguez III, Jack Vigil, Kendall McCormick.
