Mittie Elizabeth Stansberry

Mittie Elizabeth Stansberry, 90, resident of Albuquerque, left us May 15, 2013 to join the �love of her life, Tom�. She was born in Little Rock, AR February 26, 1923. Liz, Bettye, Mittie or Ma, whatever name you knew her by, worked many years as a cashier at Safeway and the commissary at Kirtland. After retirement she enjoyed traveling, working in her yard and visiting with her many friends and family. After an illness last November, she and her faithful friend Snoopy, moved to The Village at Alameda where she made even more friends. She was loved by many and loved many. She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Mittie Porter, husband Thomas, son Jack and brothers Bob, Eddie and Jim Porter. She is survived by her daughter Wrenn�e (Fred) Reynolds of Santa Fe, grandchildren Rodney Reynolds of Rio Rancho, Pamela Reynolds of Santa Fe, Wesley (Leticia) Reynolds of Santa Fe and Vanessa Goodman of Riverside, CA, nephew Thomas (Nora) Porter of Greenbrier, AR and niece Debbie (JR) Lucero of Albuquerque. She is also survived by two very special �kissin� cousins� Jean and Dale Bobb of Albuquerque and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Strong-Thorne Chapel 1100 Coal Ave. SE, Albuquerque. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens 9500 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to New Heights Baptist Church, 5300 Iliff Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, where she was a member or Animal Welfare, 8920 Lomas NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. Pallbearers will be Rodney Reynolds, Wesley Reynolds, Thomas Porter, Kevin Bobb, Heath Bobb and Dale Bobb. See ya later, Mom. We love you!
