Morris Gonzales

Morris Gonzales 08-17-1935 to 05-05-2019

Morris Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM was embraced by our Dear Lord Sunday May 5, 2019 and taken into his heavenly home at age 83.  He was born August 17, 1935 In Fort Sumner, NM to Eduardo and Inesita Gonzales. 

Morris was united in marriage to his wife Catherine on April 29, 1977.  He proudly served in the Navy and played bass and guitar in several bands for many years.  Along with his love for music, he worked as a surveyor for the City of Albuquerque where he dedicated 33 years before retiring to enjoy his family and grandchildren.  Morris was loved by all who knew him.  He took special joy in his music and even passed that love down to many in his family.  A devoted catholic, He Loved God so much.  His heart was big and generous to all he knew.

Morris is preceded in death by his Mother Inesita, Father Eduardo, his 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

He is survived by his wife Catherine, sons Michael and Arthur (wife Gina), Brothers Lee (wife Linda) and Gilbert (wife Renita) His two granddaughters that were more like his daughters, Monique Hall (husband Richard) and Stefanie Gallegos (husband Joseph), grandchildren Michael Jr, Roxanne, Felicia, and April, and 9 great grandchildren.  He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
