Page, Morris Age 94, departed this world Saturday, September 15, 2012. He was born in Starkville, MS on February 5, 1918, to Doc and Lula Page. He was the youngest of five children. Morris moved to New York City as a young man. He then joined the Army and served honorably in World War II. After discharge, he met and married Bernice Hartman and had one son, Larry Page. Morris served as a police officer with the New York City Police Department until his retirement. Morris and his wife Bernice moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico after their retirement. Morris was a hard worker and an honorable man. He was good to his mother and the rest of his family. Morris leaves to mourn him, his granddaughter, Veronica Bronston and her husband Mark; grandson, Larry Page and his wife Shawnette; great-grandsons, Darius and Javon Page; nieces, Betty, Josephine, Charlette, and Veronica; nephews, Ernest, Morris, Philip, and Michael; cousin, Thelma and her family; and a host of others who knew and loved him, Selma Hankins, Carissa and Davon Hunter, and Crystal Harris. Visitation will be held Friday, September 21, 2012, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, 3906 19th Ave SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
