Myrtle Langstaff

Langstaff, Myrtle I.
Age 85, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Socorro Good Samaritan Society. She was born in Crystal Springs, ND on January 23, 1931, to Clarence Westman  and Irene Husby. The eldest of four children, Myrtle met the love of her life Frank D. Langstaff at a church camp in Washington. They were married in 1949 and spent 43 years together. Myrtle was very involved in the Salvation Army Church during her time in California. She liked to crochet and play bingo and loved to watch Tv. She also loved collecting any tiger memorabilia. She was a devoted mother  and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank D. Langstaff; a daughter, Geraldine Langstaff; her son-in-law, Jess Johnson; brothers, Allen Westman and Jim Husby; and grandson, Sandy Bass. Myrtle is survived by her loving children, Darlene Johnson, Dale Langstaff, Evelyn Pudwill and husband Joe, Michael Langstaff, Bruce Langstaff and Nancy Obar; her grandchildren, Dale Langstaff, Kevin Langstaff, Jayson Langstaff, Rosa Otero, Jazmine Johnson, Denise Otero, Michael Williams, Danny Obar, Micky Obar, Wayne Obar, Trevor Obar, and Madison Obar; her brother, Dick  Westman and wife Arlene; as well as several great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, 1:00 pm, at  Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield St, Socorro with pastor Paul Holt officiating.  Inurnment will take place on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Lawncrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Redding, CA.
