PHILLIPS- Myrtle Phillips age 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1920, passed away on Tuesday December 16, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Rubin Phillips Sr.; by her six children Cloyd Phillips and wife Marvell, Linda Gonder, Lavonne Harris and husband Robert, Rubin Phillips Jr., and wife Brenda, Larry Phillips and wife Lesa, and Ruenette Mosby and husband Robert.; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren and two sisters, Athalia Jones and Bernice Slaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Pearl McDonald and son Choyce Phillips.
