Nadine Hensley

Hensley, Nadine Bell 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born in Tularosa, NM on April 28, 1934 to Benjamin F. and Nada M.(Simmons) Womack. Nadine grew up in Socorro and married James W. Hensley at a young age. She and James were married for 60 years before he passed away in 2008. She loved to dance and enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds. Nadine was a woman of strong faith and was very active in her church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; her sister, Bennie Gray; and her brother, J. D. Womack and his wife, Myrtle. Nadine is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Muncy and husband, Chuck; her grandchildren, Connie Jo McKinley and husband, Johnny Ray; Charles J. Muncy Jr.; and Kathy Muncy; great grandchildren, Tyrell Davis and wife, Kacee; Kyle Davis; Leon, Leanne, Lamar and Lelan Fountain; and Nicole Bilbo; great great grandchildren, Makhayla and Makenzia Davis. A Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 12:45 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM with Bishop Mark Hoops officiating. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray McKinley, Tyrell Davis, Kyle Davis, Leon Fountain, Lelan Fountain, and Lamar Fountain.
