Age, 59, adored Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend passed away on May 4, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on April, 6, 1958 to her loving parents Richard and Lena Vigil in Albuquerque, NM. Shortly after marrying and starting a family with her husband Fred they moved to Bernalillo, NM and eventually moved to Rio Rancho after becoming empty nesters. An active community member wherever she was, Nadine nourished those around her with love and compassion. As a life-long educator, Senora Padilla enriched the lives of students in Bernalillo, Rio Rancho and throughout the state of New Mexico. Amongst her favorite things were being with her grandchildren, spending time with friends and family, camping and going on adventures with her husband and sharing stories about her children. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Fred; her son Steve, daughter in law Kim and grandsons Richard and Joseph; her daughter Diana; older brother Gerald Vigil, sister in law Linda and nephew Justin; younger sister Lorie Doty, brother in law Ernie and nephews Derick and Matthew Cognion; her cherished puppies Chewy and Leia; many cousins, in-laws, adopted nieces, nephews and friends. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Rd. Chapel. A Rosary at 10:00 am and a Mass at 10:30 am will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church (301 S Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM 87004) followed by interment at Vista Verde Cemetery at 2:00pm (4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124).
