Nancy (Oplinger) Dover died peacefully on April 25, 2020. She was born in Hellertown, PA June 13, 1929. Nancy was preceded in death by her daughters Anne Eldridge and Wendy Roberts. Nancy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Edmund Dover; son Kenneth Schneider and his wife Deborah; daughter Susan Baca and her husband Frank; daughter Jeanie McClellan and her husband Dean Horinek; and son-in-law Roger Eldridge. After graduating from college, she moved to Albuquerque to work as a medical technologist at Bernalillo County Indian Hospital. Nancy helped start the Albuquerque Little Theater Art Gallery where she met her husband, Ed. She enjoyed innertube rides down the Rio Grande and was an avid bicycle rider into her late 70s. For many years, Nancy taught her popular Oasis Lifelong Adventure class educating others about the system of ditches in and around Albuquerque. Exceptionally talented in the fine art of being a grandmother, she enjoyed her nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren to the utmost. We will miss her. The family expresses deep gratitude to the staff at the Beehive Homes of Bosque Farms and to her hospice nurse, Jaime. The family also gives special thanks to Chaplain Joel, who brightened her days with his hymn singing duets.
