Nancy A Pino

Pino, Nancy A. 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. She was born in Alamo, NM on October 13, 1942 to Denny Y. Sr. and Nellie (Vicente) Apachito. Nancy was a lifelong resident of Alamo. She served as a Counselor and retired from the Alamo Navajo School Board after many years of dedicated service. She also served as a foster parent for many years alongside her husband, Joe. Nancy enjoyed watching movies and crocheting. She was a good silver smith in her early years. Nancy loved the outdoors and fishing. More than anything else, she loved and adored her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; and her sister, Rena Apachito. Nancy is survived her loving husband of 48 years, Joe Pino; her son, Wayne Pino; her daughter, Cindy Pino and husband, Subhash C. Mudaliar; her sisters, Elsie; Florence; Priscilla; Corrine; and Dorene; her brothers, Kennenth; Denny Jr.; George; Jay; and Kee Boyd; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Nancy also enjoyed and was very proud of her grandchildren, Ciya and Cyndy. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Alamo Baptist Church with Violet Jake officiating. Interment will follow at the Word of God Cemetery.
