Ned Brody

Services for Ned Brody, 61, will be 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 10, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Darrelson J. Begay will officiate. Burial will be in family plot, Pinedale. Visitation will follow services. Brody died Dec. 1, 2010, in Gallup. He was born July 14, 1949, in Pinedale, into the Mountain Cove People Clan for the Two Who Came To Water People Clan. Brody was a resident of Pinedale. He worked for the railroad, Union Pacific and helped with ranch work in the community. Survivors include his brothers, Herbert Billie, Larry Billie, of Chinle, Jerry Billie, Harrison Billy of Pinedale; sisters, Sarah Billie, Maggie Billie, both of Pinedale. Brody was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice Billie, Dan James Largo. Pallbearers will be Jerry Billie, Mercury Baker, Wesley Billie, Larry Billie Jr., Charleston Billie, Allison Notah. The family will receive relatives and friends at Pinedale Second Canyon, Lewis residence, following services.
