Nicholas J. DeLeo

DeLEO_Nicholas J. DeLeo, 90, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1973, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2008. Nicholas was born July 25, 1918 the son of Guiatano and Mary (Flazone) DeLeo in New York City, New York. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He enjoyed gardening and loved wood-working. Nicholas is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Maria: three children, Janet Surace of Staten Island, NY, Frances Gargano of Monroe, CT, and Thomas DeLeo and wife Rosemarie of Rio Rancho, NM; five grandchildren, Janine, Danielle, Michelle, Michael, and Jennifer; two great grandchildren, Thomas and Matthew; and one brother, Frank DeLeo of Brooklyn, NY. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made in Nicholas name to Odyssey Healthcare of Albuquerque, 5600 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
