72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2015. He was born in San Pedro Municipo De Coyame, Chihuahua, Mexico on March 22, 1942 to Gabriel and Eloisa (Puertas) Morales. Nicholas was a Socorro resident since 1978. He retired from NM Tech in 2005 . Nicholas enjoyed drawing and visiting the casino every once in a while. He liked to dance especially with his late wife, Ofelia. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Gabriel and Adan Morales; his sisters, Esther and Guadalupe; and his beloved wife, Ofelia M. Morales. Nicholas is survived by his devoted son, Nick Morales; his grandchildren, Nico and Syenna Morales; his sisters, Catalina and Berta; and many other loving family members and close friends.The Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 9:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro followed by the Mass of Resurrection which will be celebrated at 10:00 am with Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant.
