Nicolas E. Romero

Nicolas Romero, age 83, passed away on June 03, 2017 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nicolas was born on April 04, 1934 in Antonito, Colorado to Milton and Josephine Romero. He attended La Jara High School and graduated in the class of 1952. He worked for The Colorado Fuel and Iron Company as a young man, and sold insurance for all of New Mexico. Nicolas really enjoyed fishing with his friends whenever he had a chance, dancing, making people laugh and loving working with his hands by building small engines in his shop on 4th street for over 20 years. He was also a member of Saint Therese Shrine of the little Flower. Nicolas will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.

Mr. Romero was preceded in death by his loving parents; his brother Carlos Archuleta.
He is survived by his brother Milton Romero Jr. of San Jose, California and his three daughters; Emma Romero of Denver, Colorado; Geraldine Romero of Denver, Colorado and Rhonda Fong of Albuquerque, New Mexico; also 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.


A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 at 03:00 pm; at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel, located at 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE 87109.

A Mass will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at 09:00 am; at the Little Flower Catholic Church located at 3424 4th St. NW, 87107

A Interment will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at 10:00 am; at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, 87109. with Reception to follow
