Our family mourns the passing of Olga Katimi, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who departed peacefully on March 16, 2024, just two days shy of her 96th birthday. Olga was born in Bethlehem on March 18, 1928. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Katimi. Though she leaves this world as a widow, her memory is cherished by her three children: Johan Khader, Liala Jenkins, and Philippe Katimi; her five grandchildren: Edward Khader Jr. and his wife, Michelle Khader, the late Gina Khader, Stephanie Jenkins, Erik Jenkins, and Dayana Katimi; her four great-grandchildren: Edward Khader III, Ariana Khader, Catalina Dandach, and Valentina Dandach; and her sisters, Jacqueline Sperduto and Claudine Khader.
She was so loving to her family. She was a shining example of working hard and helping others. Olga was an incredible seamstress. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her generosity. Olga was known for her kind heart and unwavering commitment to helping those less fortunate. Her contributions to the people of Haiti, through financial support and acts of kindness, touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
A devout Catholic, Olga found solace and strength in her faith. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished her time outdoors, finding peace in the beauty of nature. She delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones. Olga Katimi's legacy is one of love, compassion, and hard work. Her memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will continue to inspire kindness and generosity in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
