Olga Maizel

MAIZEL - Olga Maizel, age 90, of Albuquerque, passed away on February 5, 2010. Beloved wife of 70 years to Antoly. Dearest mother of Victoria (Michael) Savich. Dear grandmother of Tanya Komogrova (Peter Vorobieff) and great grandmother of Svyatoslav Komogorov. Mrs. Maizel immigrated to Albuquerque from Russia in 1993. She was a member of Jewish Veterans of WWII. During WWII, she served in the Russian Army Medicine Division, discharging with the rank of Captain. She was awarded the Order of Great Patriotic War, 2nd Degree and multiple medals.
