Onedia Fay Adams went to her heavenly home on March 25, 2018. Known as Nedia, she was born in Victoria, Texas on August 24, 1926. Nedia loved to inform all who met her that she was a “Texan”. She met and married her husband in San Antonio and they began a career with the Air Force. Nedia loved the lifestyle and with every move made her new location home within the first week.
When the couple retired from the Air Force they moved to Auburn, New York where they started their second career and opened the family business, Adams Travel, and enjoyed traveling around the world.
Nedia moved to Richmond, Virginia to be near her son. She met some of her dearest and most special friends here and loved her home, church and pets. Then, in 2017, when she moved to Albuquerque to be with her daughter, she again adjusted to her new location and called it home and made new and dear friends.
She was predeceased in death by her husband, Howard John Adams, and her son Daniel Scott Adams. Nedia is survived by her daughter Sharon Ann Smith and husband Steve, and her son David John Adams and wife Melinda, along with 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She cherished her time spent with family.
A memorial service is being planned for later this summer.
