Oscar W. Quesada, age 88, passed away at home with his loving family by his side, February 6, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born September 15, 1933, to Manuela and Julian Quesada in Laredo, TX.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, 6 siblings, 3 wives: the mother of his children Herminia Sainz, Joann Martinez, and Henriquetta Velasquez.
He is survived by his 4 children and their spouses: Peggy (Jerry), Patricia (Rick), Oscar (Dianna), and Belinda, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Oscar proudly and honorably served the United States Air Force for 22 years. After retiring from both the military and the US Postal Service, Oscar worked for the Albuquerque Rescue Mission transporting the homeless to shelters seven days a week. He had a lot of compassion for people.
He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and hunting. One of his greatest joys was spending time laughing and joking with his family. He loved his family dearly. Oscar had such a great presence, and he is loved and missed tremendously.
