Owen Chavez

Chavez, Owen Loving son, brother, and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the age of 15. He was born in Jalisco, Guadalajara, MX to Ceasar Herrera and Suzy Chavez. Owen adored his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed dancing, football, basketball, drawing, painting and playing with his dog Bubba. Owen is survived by his mother Suzy Chavez; step father Freddie Gutierrez; brothers Adrian Vasquez and Jaiden Chavez; grandparents Rosa Santa Cruz and Estella Barreras and numerous relatives and friends. Owen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will take place Monday, September 23, 2013 at Garcia Chapel from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am at St. Frances Xavier 820 Broadway Blvd SE; Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
