Pamela, 66, loving wife, mother, daughter, mother in law passed away peacefully at Presbyterian Hospital Downtown on August 1st after suffering a stroke on May 20th, 2024. Pam was born in Detroit, Michigan and lived most of her life in Clarkston, Michigan. Later moved to Edgewood, New Mexico with Micheal and Ian in 2013.

 Pamela was known for her kind heart and loving spirit always putting others needs before herself.

 Pam volunteered at various crisis call centers in both Michigan and New Mexico supporting those suffering for mental and physical abuse honoring the death of her son Evan McCord in 2008.

Pamela worked with several University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center departments including the Center for Development and Disabilities, the Truman Center, and most recently the Comprehensive Cancer Center’s New Mexico Tumor Registry. Pamela worked with many wonderful people and developed great relationships with her leaders and coworkers.

 Pam is survived by her husband Michael McCord and son Ian McCord (Michelle McCord), her mother Lillian Gordon, and brothers Joseph Gordon and Todd Gordon, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
