Patricia A Montoya

Montoya, Patricia A. 54, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Socorro, NM on November 7, 1958 to Gabriel and Frances (Balderamas) Baca. Patricia was a lifelong resident of Socorro and graduated from Socorro High School. She worked for the Socorro Consolidated School's and retired as a head cook after 34 years of service. Patricia was a very loving, caring and kind person who loved working with the kids at school and would help anyone who needed her help. She loved to cook and enjoyed her shopping trips and her occasional trips to the casino. Patricia will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Patricia is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 28 1/2 years, Antonio "Tony" Montoya of Socorro, NM; her brothers, Adolpho Baca and wife, Helen; and Anthony Baca; her sisters, Maryann Baca; Connie Ebler and husband, Thomas Summers; Gloria Billa and husband, Donald; Arlene Baca; and Tammy Baca; brother-in-law, Johnny Montoya; sister-in-laws, Corine Armijo and husband, Gregorio Holguin; Judy Benavidez and husband, Raymond; Marylou Montoya; and Gloria Lucero; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, 203 Spring St. SW, Socorro, NM with Pastor Bob Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Socorro Cemetery. Pallbearers are Andrew Baca, Anthony Baca Jr., Daniel David Padilla, David Anaya Jr., Clifford Armijo and Faustino Myers. Honorary Pallbearers are Norman Aguilar, Carlos Baca, Adolpho Baca Jr., Dylan Julian Edwards, Joshua Montoya and Elric James Padilla.
