Patricia Marie Condit

Patricia Marie Condit (84) passed away peacefully on Mar 7 th 2020, after a short illness.  

Pat was born Sept 6 1935, in Denver Colo, where she attended West High school.  She was married shortly after high school and had 3 children, settling in Commerce City Colo.   After a divorce, she raised her 3 children as a single working mother.  It was tough in the 60’s to do that, often working 2 or 3 jobs to keep the family together and safe.  She worked at various companies, including Wright and McGill, Centralized Rose Graders, Yellow Front, Labelles etc, .  After getting her children through high school, she married Loren Condit, the love of her life.  They continued living in Commerce City until she retired and they then moved to Rio Rancho NM.  There Pat and Loren made many new friends, enjoyed motorcycling, and touring the area.  They made almost yearly trips to Colorado to enjoy the Fall colors and visit family.   Pat was engaged in the community of Rio Rancho, volunteering at the City offices, joining the Red Hat and the Elks, attending exercise classes and was a member of a weekly card club.  

Pat made friends easily, and liked socializing, endearing herself to those lucky enough to know her, Whether it was playing cards or just talking, she was always engaged in the moment.  She was fun to be around and laughed easily and well. 

Pat was dedicated to her family, making the effort to visit with them and attend their important events.  She sent beautifully written, insightful and encouraging cards for birthdays and other milestones.  She enjoyed Facebooking and often replied to her family and friends posts 

Pat is survived her brother Jerry Scott and his wife Susan, daughter Sharon McDonald and her husband Steve Moss, son Steve McDonald and his wife Marilyn, son Kenny McDonald, three grandchildren, Brian McDonald and his wife Shannon, Katey Palmer and her husband John, and Jesse McDonald, and two great grandchildren, Ethan and Emily McDonald.
