Age 66, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 14, 1948, to John and Eva Bachicha. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Bachicha Jr. and her sister, Bertha Sustadita. Patricia is survived by husband of 49 happy years, John R. Herrera of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Denise Y. Marquez and husband Daniel Silva, of Rio Rancho, NM; son, David Herrera and wife Barbara of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Gabriella Herrera, Jarred Herrera, Grace Herrera, Jordan Herrera; sisters, Rafaelita Bachicha of Santa Fe, NM, Dolores Goff of San Marcos, CA and two pets. She graduated from Del Norte High School. Patricia worked for Sears for twenty-four years then retired from El Dorado High School in 2012. She had many hobbies such as her beautiful garden, art, and reading, and spending a day at the casino, you would hear her scream across the casino when she won. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and family who she loved dearly. Patricia loved animal and insects of all types including her pet Chihuahua and shadow Chica. It goes without mentioning, that she wouldn't go a day without hot green Chile. Her fondness for horror movies was unmatched, even dressing up every Halloween to ensure trick or treater's remembered her house. Patricia was the most giving and generous person, always putting everyone else before herself. She will especially be remembered for her sense of humor, always making people laugh. Anyone who visited her would be greeted with a warm welcome and generosity. Patricia touched so many people and her absence will be missed tremendously. Service will be held on at 11 o'clock am, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Patricia's honor to the Animal Humane Society, http://animalhumanenm.org/.
