Patricia Marie Jacquez

Trish Jacquez, 26, of Farmington was called home to her heavenly father on Sept. 24, 2009. She was born August 27, 1983 to Dennis Jacquez and Paula Jacquez-Cunningham. Trish was preceded in death by her grandfather Floyd Smothers and Aunt Denise Jacquez. She is survived by her mother Paula Jacquez-Cunningham, her father Dennis Jacquez and Brenda Carle, brothers Joe Jacquez and wife Renee of Denver, Jesse Jacquez and wife Becca of California, Kevin Daniel and wife Brandi of Farmington and Tim Trotter and wife Michelle of Farmington, Grandparents Felix and Lydia Jacquez of Farmington and Patricia Smothers of Farmington. In her life, Trish was adored by many Grandparents, loved by many Aunts and Uncles and cherished by many close friends and family. She loved to "hang out" with friends and family. She could cook for a small army and would look forward to "Thursday Nights" at Grandma Pat's. She couldn't wait to start the next softball, flag football, and volleyball seasons, and always looked forward to the next annual alumni Mud Volleyball tournament at UNM. Trish was a Farmington High School graduate of 2001. She was so proud of her Bachelors degree earned while enrolled at UNM and wanted to take the "real world" by storm. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, cousin, and forever friend to many. Her current love and focus was being an Auntie for Reese, Jett, and Brailey. Another of Trish's passions was caring for animals. She loved all her crazy cats, and dog Cali. There was always time and space in her heart for any four-legged friend in need. Because of that love, in lieu of flowers, please send donations care of Brewer Lee & Larkin Funeral Home that will be forwarded to the Farmington Animal Shelter. In Trish's memory the family has asked that those who will be coming to her services to bring a non-monetary animal donation to be given to the Farmington Animal Shelter; boxes will be provided at the funeral home.
