F. Patricia Modica

F. Patricia Modica, a lifelong resident of Corrales, New Mexico, born Tuesday, March 17, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away January 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Ted Modica, her parents William F. Stacey & Opal (Boston) Stacey, and by her brother Joe Stacey.  Patricia is survived by her daughter Theresa Stuhlmann and husband Jeff, sister-in-law, Regina Modica West and husband Gary, sisters-in-law Phyllis Modica and Christine Modica and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pat worked at the Technical – Vocational Institute (now Central New Mexico Community College or CNM) for more than thirty-five years. Before a career at T-VI, she worked in Albuquerque Public Schools.  Pat was a volunteer at the Corrales Harvest Festival for more than fifteen years.  Pat enjoyed crafts and made many jams and jellies for family and friends. Ted and Pat enjoyed traveling whether it was RVing, cruising, or flying across the country to get on a motor coach to go site seeing. They also enjoyed trains and made frequent trips that included trips on historic trains.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CNM Foundation in support of the Rust Opportunity Assistance Fund.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 17^th, 2023, at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Sara Chapel, located at 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124, beginning at 2:00PM.
