Patricia S. Prespentt Velasquez

Patricia S. Prespentt Velasquez, 69 of Farmington, NM passed from this life on June 14, 2011. She was born January 24, 1942 in Las Vegas, NM to Patricio and Mary Crescencia Prespentt. Patricia grew up in Miami, Arizona where she attended high school. She retired from the Bloomfield School District where she worked for many years as a bus driver. Patricia enjoyed visiting with friend and relatives. She also enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her four grandchildren. Patricia was a very loving, caring person who was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricio and Mary Prespentt; brother, Jose Cris Prespentt; sisters, Josie Medina and Mary Velasquez; grandparents, Francisco S. Montoya, Valentina Martinez Montoya, Jose Carlo Prespentt and Auralia Prespentt. Patricia is survived by her son, LeRoy Velasquez; daughters, Natalie Baca, Marlene Velasquez (Sandy); brother, Vincent Prespentt; sisters, Linda Prespentt and Brenda Gibson; as well as four grandchildren, Joshua Velasquez, Brandon Baca, Christina Velasquez and Joseph Velasquez. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 22 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Farmington with Father Vigil officiating. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday, June 24, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Farmington with Deacon Frank officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brandon Baca, Joshua Velasquez, Greg Velasquez, Derrick Gibson, Julian Velasquez and Carlos Velasquez. Arrangements have been entrusted to: Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W.
