Deardeuff, Paul Elmer Jr. Age 70, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 from complications of diabetes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Evelyn Deardeuff, Sr.; his sister, Shirley (Deardeuff) Caldwell; grandson, Scott Brandon Horner. Paul is survived by his three daughters, Marletta (Bill) Werner of Pembine, WI, Charlene (David) McDonnough of Florence, SC and Tina (Lorenzo) Maxwell-Marquez of Albuquerque, NM; 6 grandchildren, Andrea, John, Alan, Adam, Coty and Joel; 4 great grandchildren, Eric, William, Natasha, and Lanea; nieces, Carmen, Debra, and Diana; nephews, Darryl and Mike; and other extended family. Paul was born June 30, 1943 in Illinois to Paul and Evelyn (Smith) Deardeuff, Sr. His family moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1953. He graduated from Valley High School in 1962 and married Charlotte Brown on September 2, 1963. Paul joined the US Air Force shortly thereafter and was stationed in Topeka, KS and then in Vietnam. Paul and Charlotte were divorced in 1970 and in 1972 Paul married Yolanda Gomez, they were divorced in 1982. Paul liked to travel and spent a lot of time moving between New Mexico and California. He spent the last 25 years living in Albuquerque, NM where he worked a variety of jobs until his retirement. Paul requested no public services. His loved ones will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
