Paul Mark Nash

Paul Mark Nash passed peacefully away at his home in Aztec, N.M. on January l5, 20ll. He was born in Brownfield, Texas to Les Lloyd Nash and Norma (Ray) Nash on October 2, l959. He attended l-12 grades in Kermit, Texas with interests in sports, photography and journalism. He played 2nd baseman on the Kermit District Championship team before graduating. Paul then attended Texas Tech University and University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He was an employee of Shell Pipeline for 24 years traveling from Kermit, Texas to many places in the U.S., including Wyoming. After his 24 years with Shell, he fulfilled his lifelong desire to serve in the Church of Christ ministry. He and his wife Sharita graduated school in Lubbock at the Sunset School of Preaching before traveling to Mexico to teach and preach. Paul and Sharita recently moved to Aztec N.M. and were employed by Mosaic, Inc. caring for handicapped adults. He is survived by his wife Sharita Carter Nash, two children, Wayland and Savannah Nash, a brother, David Ray Nash and sister, Luana Nash Hewett and parents, Les Lloyd Nash and Norma (Ray) Nash. Visitation for Mr. Nash will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington, Farmington, NM 87401 (505) 327-5142. Cremation will follow and a memorial service will be held in Texas later next week.
