Age 61, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving friends. She was born in Gallup, NM on September 29, 1955. Paula has been a resident with Tresco in Socorro, NM since 1994. Despite the many obstacles in Paula's life, she was happy, loving, caring and very determined. She was a fighter. There was nothing Paula would not overcome to beat the odds in her life. Including receiving a gold medal at the Special Olympics. She loved to dance, dress up, go camping, travel and go to parties. She was a people person. Paula loved hugs and she loved attention. She became friends with everyone that crossed her precious journey of life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her special long time friend, roommate and soul sister Sandra Serna. Paula is survived by her brother, Ted Dillon and wife Sandra; and many, many countless friends and family both past and present from Tresco. A service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 am at Daniels Family Funeral Services Chapel, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
