77, passed away peacefully in Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 with her family at her side. She was born in Magdalena, NM on November 4, 1937 to Jose Saavedra and Rafelita (Turrietta) Ware. Pauline was a lifelong resident of Socorro. She served as a mayordoma of the First Baptist Church and also the Friendship Baptist Church here is Socorro for many years. She was very committed to her faith in the Lord and shared and taught all of her children to hold on to that faith, hope, and love in all things. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved children, Flavio Apodaca; Ramon Apodaca; James Price; Robert Price; James Anderson; Rose Mary Lopez Smith; and Robert "Bobby" Gomez. Pauline is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Davis Rodriguez; and her devoted son, Ramon "Wedo" Vergara. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Robert Mayer Saavedra; Valentino Lopez; Norbert Smith; Jason Smith; Matthew Smith; Angel Apodaca; Joy Apodaca; Jalen Vergara; and Tiara Vergara; and all those they knew her. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church Socorro, 203 Spring Street, Socorro with Pastor Cullen Woods officiating. Interment will take place in the Socorro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Angel Apodaca, Valentino Lopez, Valentino Lopez Jr, Joe Rodriguez, Anthony Gomez, Matthew Smith, and Luis Tafoya.
