Age 76, passed away at his home is Albuquerque, NM on Monday, February 9, 2015. He was born in Havana, Cuba on June 29, 1938, to Cecilio Fuentes and Margarita Santos. Peter graduated from Miami Jackson High School in Miami, FL, the class of 1956 from Holderness Preparatory in Plymouth, NH and the class of 1961 from NM Institute of Technology. Peter married his wife of 53 years and 8 months, Aleene Chavez in Socorro, NM at the San Miguel Catholic Church. He worked for Maricopa County Attorney's Office. He is preceded in death by his parents. Peter is survived by his wife, Aleene Fuentes of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Margot England and husband Edward of Dillon, CO; son, Carlos Fuentes and wife Jean Adams of Santa Clara, CA; grandsons, Peter John O'Neal, Edward M. England, Allan M. England; sister, Maggie Kilmer of Corning, CA; brother, Henry Fuentes of Vallejo, CA. Peter enjoyed photography, fitness, computers and personal finance. He was a member of A.I.M.E. and International Freelance Photographers Organization. Peter was a member of Annunciation Parish, and was involved with the Knights of Columbus. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services.
