Peter H. Tso

Peter H. Tso was born into the Bitter Water People Clan and born for the Towering House People Clan. His maternal grandmother's clan was the Blacksheep People Clan and his paternal grandmother's clan was the Mud People Clan. Tso attended Snowflake High School and Anadarko Indian School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Navajo Communications Company as a Lead Telephone Lineman. His hobbies and interests included golding, taking walks, and hunting. He loved to watch football, especially when the Dallas Cowboys were playing. His favorite daily activity was playing cards while listening to the KTNN radio station. Surviving family members include his daughters; Dorothea Tso, Doreena Tso, Petrina Tso all of Window Rock, Arizona, Charity Tso-Coleman of Kaibeto, Arizona, and Rhonda Tso of Camp Verde, Arizona; his son, Jamie Honie of Rough Rock, Arizona. His sisters include Ella Damon, Judy Begay, of Sawmill, Arizona, and Maria Jan Mike of Fort Defiance, Arizona. Tso is preceded in death by his parents; Hola and Susie Tso; brothers, Harry Tso Sr., Levi Tso and Henry Tso, his sisters, Virginia Roanhorse and Mary Lou Blackbear. Pallbearers include Leander Tso, Brian Dick, Leigh Leslie, Glen Slivers, Mychal Slivers and Taylor Hoskie. Honorary pallbearers include Jamie Honie, Fred Slivers, Ron Hoskie, Chancellor Damon, Emilio Chavez, Ernie Pahe, Seth Parker, and Harry Tso Jr. The Damon-Tso Family has entrusted Tse Bonito Mortuary with funeral arrangments.
