Phil A. Vigil, Jr.

Phil A. Vigil, Jr., 72 of Farmington passed away on June 8, 2011. He was born May 24, 1939 to Filomeno Vigil and Susan (Mossman) Vigil in Molly/Questa, NM. He attended school in Molly through the 10th grade. Phil later worked as a construction apprentice as well as a Funeral Director’s Assistant. Phil is survived by his sons; John Vigil and Wayne Vigil (Cathlene); daughters, Geraldine Pacheco, Carmella Vigil and Catalina Casaus (Kenny); brothers, Richard Vigil (Maria), Robert Vigil (Pat) and James Vigil; sisters, Diana Briones (Marty), Virginia Chavez (Mike) and Linda Trujillo as well as eleven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Susan Mossman Vigil and Filomeno Vigil; brother, Tommy Vigil; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Manuelita and William Mossman; and sons, Clementito Vigil and Frankie Vigil. A rosary will be recited on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Taos, New Mexico. With a Memorial service to be held at 10:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Church on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Arrangements for Mr. Vigil have been entrusted to: Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W.
