Philip Lucius Eckenroth

Philip Lucius Eckenroth, age 99, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at his home in Albuquerque. He was born in San Antonio, TX on September 10, 1920, to August and Esther Eckenroth. 
Philip served as a pilot in the United States Air Force during WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam Conflict.  He earned the Silver Star as a result of a bombing raid over Italy during WWII.  Philip retired as a Colonel in 1974 after 32 years of service.  Philip and Mildred moved to Albuquerque in 2012 to be closer to their family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marguerite Collier, and wife Mildred.
Philip is survived by daughters, Phylis (Russ) Thorson of Albuquerque, NM, and Joyce Ann (Scott) Marhoefer of Orlando, FL; grandchildren: Viki Mendez of Albuquerque, NM, Philip W. (Jennifer) Eckenroth of Albuquerque, NM, Annalee (Jon) Bradley of Albuquerque, NM, and Mark E (Allison) Venner II of Reno, NV; great-grandchildren: Alyssa Eckenroth, Caleb Eckenroth, Gabriel Eckenroth, Emaleeann Eckenroth, Jake Eckenroth, Cera Eckenroth, Morgan Fleming, Ashly Fleming, Paige Bradley, Adi Venner, Everett Venner, Dakoda Eckenroth, JoJo Eckenroth, Blaise Eckenroth, Rivers Eckenroth and Kai Eckenroth; and great-great-grandchild: Davina Eckenroth.
