Age 68, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on September 21, 1946, to Philip and Elvera Modica. Philip was employed by EM Silver, Inc. for 35 years until he started his own utility contracting business, PCM, LLC, which he ran until his passing. He was involved in the Corrales Harvest Festival and Tractor Club, and was a Grand Marshall in the Corrales, July 4, 2013 parade. He was preceded in death by his son, Glenn Anthony Modica; his parents; brothers, Tommy Modica and Gerald Modica. Philip is survived by his wife, Christine R. Modica; son, David Modica and his wife Sandee; granddaughters, Hunter Modica and Presley Modica; brother, Theodore Modica and his wife Pat; sister, Regina Modica West and her husband Gary; sister-in-law Phyllis Modica, Nelda Patton and her husband John; aunt, Elaine Modica; many cousins, nieces, nephews and a countless number of friends. He will be deeply missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 11:00am at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales, New Mexico.
