Phyllis Jean Johnson

Phyllis J. Johnson, our beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday evening, Jan. 17, 2010.
A beauty in her youth, Mom was a devoted mother, talented musician and song writer, and an avid bridge player later in life.
Mom was an early resident of Farmington, moving here from Iota, LA., in the 1940's. Her father, Lawrence Pousson, was a blacksmith in Farmington for many years.
She married the love of her life, Nathaniel "Nat" Johnson, in 1951 and lived here during the oil boom of the 1950s. Her six children were born here.
Mom moved to Gillette, WY., in the early 1970s. and settled in San Diego, CA. for over 30 years until returning to Farmington in April, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Thomas Hatchell; and by her beloved son, Hardy Nathaniel.
Mom is survived by her five remaining children; Robert "Bob" Johnson of Kelso, WA., Gordon D. Johnson of Farmington, Sankey D. Johnson of Farmington, Gregory L. Johnson of Seattle, WA., and Colleen B. Johnson of Tombstone, AZ.
