Pita Garcia

Pita Garcia, born on May 2, 1942, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, peacefully passed away on July 21, 2024 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends as she bid farewell to this world.

Pita attended Robertson High School and embarked on a journey filled with love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those around her. Her legacy will forever echo through the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is reunited in eternal peace with her husband, Jesus Garcia, grandson, Tyler Miller, parents Hilario and Alice Garduno. Also preceding her memory are her siblings:   sisters Elaine Garduno and Geraldine Garduno. and brothers Hilario "Larry" Garduno, Alfonso Garduno, Lawrence "Bobo" Garduno, 

Pita's warmth and kindness will be dearly missed by her surviving family including her son Walter Garcia, son James Garcia (Amy), daughter Darlene Garcia, and grandchildren: Noah Garcia, Paige Miller, Ariana Garcia, Madison Garcia; siblings:  Lorraine Garduno, Caroline Roane, Joe Garduno, Lita (Jim) Saunders, Rita (John) Martinez, Leonard (Eloise) Garduno, Rick (Carla) Garduno, Joann Garduno, Ron (Bonnie) Garduno as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members including her beloved dog "Buddy."

A visitation will be held in Pita's honor from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel in Rio Rancho. July 29, 2024.  Following will be a Rosary at the same location from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On July 30th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Rio Rancho Mass will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by Interment at Vista Verde Memorial Chapel from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
