Porfiria O. Carpenter

Porfiria "Perfie" O. Carpenter, 75, of Aztec, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010. She was born February 25, 1934 in La Boca. Perfie attended schools in Ignacio, CO. In 1953 she married James E. Carpenter in Gallup. They were married for 53 years. Perfie was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruby Riley; son, Danny Nelson; parents, Maximo and Rafujo Garcia as well as step-mother Dolores Garcia; three brothers and one sister. Perfie is survived by her spouse James E. Carpenter; daughters, Shelly (Ron) Armstrong, Ellen (Jackie) Seymore; sons, Chris (Patty) Carpenter, and Larry Carpenter; sisters, Margaret Schonenberg, and Mary Sage; brothers, Benny Garcia, Richard Garcia; sisters, Josie Olgen and Percilla Rock; grandchildren 8 and 9 great-grandchildren.
