Priscilla G. Lucero, 86, of Farmington, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009. Priscilla was born on July 26, 1923 in Canon Plaza, NM to Estevan and Manuelita Gurule. She attended Dixon Academy in Dixon, NM her freshman and sophomore years of high school. Then attended Glendale High School, in Glendale, CA her junior year. She graduated from Ojo Caliente High School, in Ojo Caliente, NM. Following her graduation from high school she attended and graduated from The Western School of Private Secretaries in Albuquerque, NM. She furthered her education in secretarial studies at Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM. Priscilla was secretary to The Intelligence Officer in Los Alamos, NM "Secret City" from 1944-1947. She worked for Bureau of Land Management and retired from Bureau of Indian Affairs after 26 years of loyal employment. She was an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and reading. Priscilla and Luke Lucero married on February 2, 1946 in Santa Fe, NM and were married for 59 years. Luke preceded her in death on June 26, 2005. She is survived by her four children, daughter Anne Wham, of Pierre, SD, daughter, Mabel Bowen and husband Walter of Berrien Springs, MI, son Steve Lucero of Farmington, daughter Toni Odenthal and husband Bruce of Loveland, CO, brothers, Steve Gurule, Benjie Gurule and Orlando Gurule; sisters, Pearl Garcia and Mildred Ayote. She had grandchildren Brian Wham, Lisa Hickman (Drew), Trent Bowen (Leah), Bryce Bowen (Dora), Carmalita Colbourn (Jay), Stephanie Blackwell (Darrell), Shanan Ridens (James), Jason Odenthal (Baylee), Victoria Odenthal and 16 Great Grandchildren.
