Rachel Gurule

Gurule, Rachel Loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the age of 77. Rachel adored her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed gardening; making bird houses and going to the casinos. She was born in Magdelena, NM to Estanislado and Sofia Rivera. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Henry Gurule Sr. and sister Helen Zamora. Rachel is survived by her loving children, Loretta Lucero and husband Valentin; step-son Henry Gurule and wife Margaret; grandchildren, Eric Lucero, Valentin Daniel Lucero and Robert Lucero; six great-grandchildren; brother, Fermin Rivera and wife Irene; numerous extended family and friends. All Services will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW on Thursday September 20, 2012; Visitation 8:00 am to 8:30 am; reciting of the Rosary at 8:30 am; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Rachel will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
