RACHEL STEVENSON Rachel Stevenson, 86, of Burnham, NM passed from this life on June 3, 2011. She was born in Burnham on December 15, 1924 to Matilda and Lewis Dix Yazzie. Rachel is survived by her husband: Jerome Stevenson Her children: Irene Joe, Maxine Stevenson, Marlene Stevenson, Ethelene Stevenson , Marie Stevenson, Linda Grey, Daroy Stevenson, Kat Harris, Wilson Harris, as well as twenty-five grandchildren, Twenty great-grandchildren and brothers: Wilfred T. Yazzie, Frank T. Yazzie, and Jasper Littletree. Rachel was preceded in death by sons, Calvin Stevenson, Samuel Stevenson and brother, Sampson T. Yazzie. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 10:00 am at Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington, NM with Pastor Bruce Yazzie officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
