Racquel Nichole Marquez

Marquez, Racquel Nichole Age 17, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and niece, tragically was taken away from us, Friday, June 14, 2013. She was a 10 year resident of Bernalillo, NM formerly of El Rancho, NM. Racquel attended Bernalillo High School, where she was involved in basketball, volleyball and loved her Spanish class. She was employed at KFC in Bernalillo and was anxiously awaiting to turn 18 years old to become manager. In her spare time if she wasn't playing sports you could bet she was making ceramic gifts. Racquel was a loving girl with a beautiful smile and a bright future. She brought much joy into everyone's life. Racquel is survived by her loving mother, Rhoda Valencia; her father, Nicholas Marquez and fianc�e Angela Martinez; her loving sister, Shantelle Marquez; half sister, Kandace; step-brothers, Josh and Jerome; godson, Reyes Chavez; maternal grandparents, Robert and Erlinda Valencia; paternal grandmother, Lillian Sanchez; aunts and uncles, Myrna and Alex Vigil, Margaret Marquez, Darold Valencia and girlfriend Emilia Sanchez, Bobby Sanchez, Edward Sanchez and Robert Romero; other numerous relatives and a host of friends. Racquel will be greatly missed by all and forever in our hearts. Visitations will be Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street NW. An Evening Service will be conducted this evening at 6:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Rio Rancho, 138 Frontage Rd. in Rio Rancho. Graveside Services will be Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Bernalillo, NM. Pallbearers will be Alex Ornales, Donovan Baca, Neil Sandoval, pat Lovato, Jeremy Long and Robert Ortiz. Honorary Bearers will be Josh Rivera, David Silva, Joe Gurule, Gabe Ornales, Ashley Lewis, Andres Santillanes and Josh Martinez.
