About Racquelle…Our “ Lovebug Elle”…Our Beautiful Butterfly…
FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
How do you describe someone’s short, beautiful life? Here is our attempt…
She loved
…to watch (listen to) “Graceland”…
…to collect “Hello Kitty” and “Beauty and the Beast” memorabilia…
…to read Eric Carle books… All Books…
…to hand dance to ”Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”
…to mimic her Mommy singing and dancing while she is cleaning the house… Im sure we all remember the first time she did this… to “Drop It Low”
…to listen to her Daddy’s comforting voice…
… Laugh at her full of energy Brothers
…and everything about Horses and Butterflies…
She liked chocolate, but wasn’t much for sweet candy, but quickly learned the value…she would still pick a sweet candy, stop after a few pieces just to torment her brothers…
As a toddler,
…”Tinkerbell” and “Toy Story” were known word for word by us…“Beauty and the Beast” “Cinderella” “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” were quite popular as well.
…Her favorite music was country and Christian. Favorite songs… Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country” and Selena Gomez’ “Who Says”…
…She loved the beach in California, on her 2nd vacation, until she found out how cold the water was…
She was our little Social Butterfly…
She loved to laugh…loved reading, music, water and dance…
4-wheeling with Daddy…dancing with Mommy…Singing with Michael…Cuddling with Abele…Talking/ Laughing/ cooing with Gabriel…
Those who remember… She appreciated her privacy, as a baby in her diaper until her final moments…
She had a lively, ebullient demeanor and charismatic attitude…you could especially see it when she’d roll her eyes and sigh… or batt her long lashed baby blues.
She marched to the beat of her own drum… making sure to keep us on our toes
She was truly beautiful
…Porcelain-like, angelic skin and eyes that you could see the clouds in…
…A smile so pure and genuine that it couldn’t help but change everyone who got to see it…
…An aura that like a magnet drawing everyone closer…
…Impeccable STRENGTH and OPTIMISM and Beauty…
She had wonderful contradictions like…
…She loved to dress cute, but also to get dirty…
…Hated having her hair done, but loved having her nails done, chap stick and body spray…
…Liked spray whipped cream and strawberries, but hated mashed potatoes…baked potatoes…in fact, anything potato…
Favorite memories
…Gabriel -- teaching her to walk…
…Michael – meeting Santa with her at the Festival of Trees…
…Abele – pushing himself against Mommy tummy during pregnancy while mommy held Elle… trying to touch her golden ringlet hair…
She lived her brief life to the fullest, and in her last moments let us all know she was ready to embrace her future in Heaven. Reassurance that she was okay and ready. Racquelle gave us the strength to provide our blessing and let her go.
Throughout her journey, she found comfort in Daddy, laughter in Gabriel, hope in Abele, support and strength in Mommy…and faith to continue on, in Michael.
We miss her so much, but are so glad that she’s free now and will always be watching over us.
A butterfly to remind us even though we are apart our spirit is always with eachother forever in our hearts.
Veni. Vidi. Vici.
Just when the catipillar thought she reached the end… she became a beautiful butterfly!
