Ragnheidur Svendis Mullarky

Ragnheidur (Rocky) Mullarky, 85, of Farmington, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, to be with the Lord and rejoin hearts and hands of those she loved who passed before her on , Wednesday, June 1st at her home in Farmington. She was born September 27, 1925 in Hafnarfjordur, Iceland. Ragnheidur was born and raised in Hafnarfjordur, Iceland, where she met the love of her life, Armand John Mullarky. They traveled the world together savoring the experiences of many countries and cultures. Ragnheidur loved cooking, reading, animals and good music " especially Pavarotti! She baked the best brownies in the world! She was giving, loving, and kind to all she met. Everyone was known as “sweetie” to Ragnheidur. She is preceded in eternal life by her adoring husband, Armand Mullarky, and her beloved son, Magnus Einarsson. She is survived by all who loved and adored her, including son, John Mullarky, daughter Margret Donohue, Bill Donohue, Kevin Donohue, Kari Donohue and seven loving grandchildren, Armand, Anna, Shawn, Addison, Aimee, Samantha and McKenzie. Ragnheidur loved animals. She wanted to protect the “Furry Kids” who couldn’t speak for themselves. In lieu of flowers, therefore, please send any donations to the Pet Project at 901 Fairgrounds, Farmington, NM 87401 in memory of Ragnheidur Mullarky. She wanted to see a new shelter be successfully built in our community. The family of Ragnheidur would like to send our sincere gratitude to all who touched our lives and hers; friends, coworkers, staff, nurses and doctors at San Juan Regional Medical Center, San Juan Regional Cancer Center, Cedar Ridge Inn, and Brewer, Lee & Larkin.
