Ralph Read Waddington

Waddington, Ralph R 

Age 89, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018. He was born in St Louis, MO on November 18, 1929, to Ralph and Mary Waddington. Ralph graduated from Short Ridge High School in 1947 and graduated from TVI - Surveyor in the 1970's. He was employed by Automotive Electric. Ralph served in the Army in Germany, Korea and Vietnam. He was members VFW, Military Order Purple Heart, American Legion, NRA, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and was a life member of USA Racquetball Association and American Professional Racquetball Organization. Ralph enjoyed camping, backpacking, deer hunting and raquetball. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sally Waddington Campbell; and grandson, Nicholas Barr. Ralph is survived by his wife, Edwina E. Waddington; children by pevious marriage, Dean Read Waddington and wife Kate, Pamela Lee Rynard and husband Joe,  our children, Kellie Jean Rios and husband Tom, Ralph Read Waddington, Jr.; grandchildren, Alexandra Rios, Maggie Jean Rios, Makaela Waddington, Amanda Beauchaine, Sally Waddington, Annie Waddington; and his nephews, Bruce Campbell and wife Ann, and Doug Campbell and wife Nelda. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque with a reception to follow .  Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at  Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Ralph's honor to the American Cancer Society https://donate3.cancer.org or to the New Mexico Veterans Memorial http://nmvetsmemorial.org/sitemap/donate/ or to any veterans organization of you choice.
