Ramiro A. Portillo

Ramiro Portillo Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the age of 85. He was born in San Salvador, Central America to Alejandro Mena and Rosa Portillo. Ramiro adored his family and loved spending time with them. He is preceded in death by his children Dellia Portillo and Patrick Portillo. Ramiro is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; children Ramiro Portillo, Jr., Manuel Portillo, Alex Portillo, John Portillo, Bernie Portillo, Connie Portillo, Jose Portillo and wife Flor, Dolores Lyke and husband Tony, Greg Portillo and Carlos Portillo and wife Norma; 16 grandchildren; sisters Yolanda Portillo and Concha Portillo and numerous relatives and friends. Ramiro will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Visitation will take place Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Garcia Chapel of Angels, at 3:00 pm with Rosary being recited at 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church 309 Stover Ave. SW; Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
